St. Ann Roman Catholic Church
Welcome to Saint Ann Church
ST. ANN CHURCH
St. Ann is located in the heart of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport and serves as
the "heart and soul" of our local community.  We welcome visitors to our site.
ST. ANN MISSION STATEMENT
The parishioners of St. Ann Church are called by God, through the Holy Spirit and
our Savior, Jesus Christ, to praise, love, and worship God through the celebration of
the Sacraments and especially the Eucharist.  Under the patronage of our beloved St.
Ann, Mother of Mary and Grandmother of Jesus, we hope with deep humility to be a
loving, caring, giving, and forgiving community in the service of all whom we touch
in our daily lives.  Guided by the teaching of Our Lord found in the Good News and
in the traditions of the Church, we strive to be a Beacon of Faith, Hope, and Love,
and a Harbor of Peace.
ST. ANN PRAYER TRADITION AFTER MASS
It has been a beautiful tradition at St. Ann Parish to kneel after the closing hymn at
the end of the Mass (before you leave the church) and to offer three Hail Marys:
one for yourself; one for the person who is most in need and who is present in the
church; and one is said for any member of the Parish who is most in need.  May
God bless us as we continue to pray for one another.
