Welcome to Saint Ann Roman Catholic Church

St. Ann is located in the heart of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport and serves as the heart and soul of our local community.  We are happy to have you visit us here on the web and invite you to join us – in person – at Mass or any event.

Our offices are open Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 3 PM and Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM.  We close for all Holy Days and civic holidays.

Bishop Caggiano has announced the 4th Synod of the Diocese of Bridgeport.  Click Synod Decree  and Synod Pastoral Letter to learn more about this wonderful undertaking.

Volunteers: At St. Ann we take very seriously the efforts to keep our children and young people safe. In order to be in full compliance with the Safe Environment policies of the Diocese of Bridgeport, ALL volunteers must complete VIRTUS training (a one-time 3 hour free course) and allow us to run a criminal background check. If you have never completed this course, please download a volunteer packet, register for a VIRTUS course, and return the 4 signed pages to the parish office.

Visit our Activities page for upcoming events.

Saint Ann is located at 481 Brewster Street in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, CT.  Our Mission Statement exemplifies our faith community: “We, the parishioners of St. Ann Church of Black Rock, Bridgeport, are called by God through the Holy Spirit and our Savior Jesus Christ, to praise, love and worship God through the celebration of the Sacraments and especially the Eucharist.    Under the patronage of our beloved St. Ann, Mother of Mary and Grandmother of Jesus, we hope with deep humility to be a loving, caring, giving and forgiving community in the service of all whom we touch in our daily lives. Guided by the teaching of Our Lord found in the Good News and in the traditions of the Church, we strive to be a Beacon of Faith, Hope & Love, and a Harbor of Peace.”
