Altar Linen Ministry/ Ministerio de Lino de Altar
With deep love and reverence for the Holy Eucharist, the Altar Linen Care Ministry cares for the sacred linens on a rotating schedule. Training is provided on how to care for these special linens that contain the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. This ministry is made up of members who, behind the scenes in their own homes, reverently launder and care for the purificators and corporals used on the altar at Mass.

Con profundo amor y reverencia por la Sagrada Eucaristía, el Ministerio de Cuidado de los Manteles del Altar cuida los mantos sagrados en un horario rotativo. Altar Servers / Servicdores del Altar
The server is both a member of the assembly and a minister in the sanctuarty. With a foot in both worlds, the server has an unusual perspective when participating at Mass. He or she is called to fully and actively participate in the liturgy, and yet is also called to serve in a Particular way. Must have made sacrament of First Communion.

Warmly welcome parishioners and visitors as they arrive and assist those with special needs. They also help people be seated for Mass, assist people with disabilities, collect the offertory, and assist in flow of communion.

Music Ministry / Choir / CORO
Liturgical musicians provide a very important service to the People of God assembled to give praise and worship to the Lord. Through the exercise of their musical talents, they add the element of song to the spoken word and contribute the non-verbal communication of musical expression to the Sacred Liturgy.

Catechists / Catequistas
A Catechist is a person of faith who leads others in understanding the faith teachings according to the official teachings of the Church, the Catechism of the Catholic Church. To serve as a catechist, one only needs to have a passion to share their faith and appropriate formation. This formation begins with meeting the Virtus requirements for the Diocese of Bridgeport

Lectors / Reader / LECTOR
The “reader” proclaims the readings from Sacred Scripture at Mass, except the Gospel. At Masses without a deacon, a reader also announces the intentions during the Universal Prayer of the Faithful. Readers also may be employed to make parish announcements, typically before Mass or following the Prayer after Communion. Being at least 16 years old; b. Being a fully-initiated Catholic Christian who has been confirmed and has already received the most holy sacrament of the Eucharist; If married, being in a valid marriage according to the prescriptions of the current Code of Canon Law; Being in full compliance with the norms of the Safe Environment Program of the Diocese of Bridgeport. EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION (EMHC)
The extraordinary minister of Holy Communion (EMHC) is a lay member of the faithful or a person in religious or consecrated life who has been deputed to help distribute Holy Communion when a sufficient number of ordinary ministers are not present, available or capable, and when the priest celebrant has determined that pastoral need requires their help. When called upon to assist, the EMHC will distribute either the host or the chalice to he faithful, keeping in mind that when “communion is given under both kinds, the deacon himself administers the chalice.” Being in full compliance with the norms of the Safe Environment Program of the Diocese of Bridgeport. MINISTROS EXTRAORDINARIOS DE LA SAGRADA COMUNIÓN (EMHC)
El ministro extraordinario de la Sagrada Comunión (EMHC) es un miembro laico de los fieles o una persona de vida religiosa o consagrada que ha sido designada para ayudar a distribuir la Sagrada Comunión cuando no hay un número suficiente de ministros ordinarios presentes, disponibles o capaces, y cuando el sacerdote celebrante ha determinado que la necesidad pastoral requiere su ayuda. PARISH Council / Consejo Parroquial
The Parish Council is an advisory board serving the Pastor as the voice of the parishioners. The Council consists of at least 12 voting members selected from the Parish community and appointed by the Pastor. A Council member is a Catholic who is in good sacramental standing in the Church, is of excellent character, shows reverence and love for the Eucharist, and would like to be a positive influence and guide of our parish. El Consejo Parroquial es una junta asesora que sirve al Párroco como la voz de los feligreses. El Consejo consta de al menos 12 miembros con derecho a voto seleccionados de la comunidad parroquial y designados por el párroco. Un miembro del Consejo es un católico que tiene una buena posición sacramental en la Iglesia, tiene un carácter excelente, muestra reverencia y amor por la Eucaristía y le gustaría ser una influencia positiva y una guía para nuestra parroquia. Liturgy Committee / Comité de liturgia
The Liturgy Committee assists the Pastor with planning and implementing the various aspects of liturgical activities in the parish. Planning is done for the various liturgical seasons. There are also discussions and suggestions for special liturgies or opportunities for enrichment, prayer and worship of the parish. The committee can advise the Pastor and assist him carrying out ideas and solving problems that are shared by the committee through feedback from parishioners. Meets once month every 1st Thursday of the Month Rectory.

A group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week. Each group volunteers about twice a month.
